the reason I purchased this item is because I just lost my 2 soul mates. My wife died a few weeks ago from cancer. My shih tzu died a few weeks before she did. I bought this pillow because, with the exception of the black color, this shih tzu looked exactly like mine! His name was Swanson. Holding this pillow every night gives me a comfort that he is snuggling with me, helping me sleep, like he used to do! This is not just a dog pillow - this is helping me heal a wounded heart after the death of my 2 precious family members. Its a reminder that they are in Heaven with God, and all pain is taken away!
